Description:
Asha is a gentle soul who is one to hang back and let her fellow felines explore and take risks. Once she knows that there's no harm to be had, she will slowly show you that she wants to be your friend but you have to have a watchful eye to see the signals. Asha means protector of the fire which actually means she is an agent of Truth. She is not one to be anything other than genuine and honest. She is one of the Six Sweet Saved Souls (on Facebook) that came from a horrific hoarding situation in Yuma, AZ. Because of her harsh start, she will need a loving family to continue the work of her foster family and the rescue to help her trust and come out of her shell. We are confident that once she is settled into her forever home, her true warmth and kind heart will shine.
Cats: Asha is happy to have feline companions and would appreciate a pal if left home alone for long periods of time. An outgoing kitty might help her come out of her shell faster.
Dogs: Asha did not meet a dog while in rescue.
Kids: Asha would do fine with children as long as they were kitty-friendly kids over age 10.
Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested, receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption
